If you’re having trouble with your microphone or camera during a V.connct meeting, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Steps to Resolve Microphone or Camera Issues:

1) Check Device Connections
- Make sure your microphone and camera are properly connected to your device. For external devices, confirm that they’re securely plugged in or paired via Bluetooth if applicable.
- For Browser Users: Ensure your browser has permission to access your microphone and camera. Look for a small camera icon in the address bar, click it, and confirm permissions are enabled.
- For App Users: Go to your device settings, locate the V.connct app, and confirm microphone and camera permissions are turned on.
- Ensure the correct microphone and camera are selected from the menus.
- Microphone Test: Speak into the microphone and check for input level changes in the audio settings. If no input is detected, try adjusting the volume or switching microphones.
- Camera Test: In video settings, look for a preview of your camera feed. If it’s blank or not showing, try selecting a different camera from the menu.
- Sometimes a simple restart can solve connection issues. Close V.connct and reopen it, or restart your device, and then try joining the meeting again.
- For Windows and Mac users, outdated drivers may cause audio or video issues. Check your device’s audio and camera drivers for updates or reinstall them if necessary.
- If your microphone or camera still isn’t working, try switching to a different device (such as a mobile phone or tablet) and joining the meeting from there.
