How to Manage Projects in the API Management Section in V.cloud

The API Management section allows you to create, view, and manage all your projects. Each project is equipped with essential API credentials such as API Key and Secret Key. This article explains how to navigate and manage projects within this section.

1) Log in to your V.connct  account.

- Click on your name and select "V.cloud"

3) A list of existing projects will appear, along with details like Base URL, Project name, Date created, Project ID, Secret key, Domain, Status, Action. 

a) Base URL: The primary API link used to access the project.

b) Project Name: A custom name assigned to the project for easy identification.

c) Date created: The date and time when the project was first created.

d) Project ID: A unique identifier assigned to each project for reference and management purposes.

e) Secret Key: An additional security layer used with the API key for data encryption and authentication.

Note: Click on the eye icon next to the Project ID or Secret Key to display it temporarily. Use the copy button to copy either to the clipboard.

f) Domain: The domain associated with the project to secure interactions via the API.

g) Status: Indicates whether the project is active or inactive.

Note: Use the toggle switch in the Status column to activate or deactivate the project.

h) Action: Allows users to manage the project through options like adding a domain.

Note: Clicking the Action button will open a page that lets you add a domain to the project.

5) Enter the Project name here.

Note: Click on the box behind "Set as default project" if you want this project to be the default one.

6) Click on “Create New API Key” to finalize the project setup.
